Kathryn and Mark were married on August 10th, with a ceremony and reception at the Mountain Home Lodge in Leavenworth, WA.
One of the things I adore most about my job is the chance I get no only to “work” but to be part of the most important and special days of people’s lives. Even though it’s scary and sometimes overwhelming, it’s also deeply humbling, especially for people like Kathryn and Mark! These are the kind of people that make your soul smile and make my job smooth sailing.
Alex and Camille were married on September 4th, with a ceremony at Senate Meadows at Galena Lodge in Sun Valley, ID, and a reception at the Warm Springs home they rented in Ketchum, ID.
The day of the wedding itself was full of just about every type of weather you can think of! It’s a bit of a guessing game for weather during the first part of September in Idaho, but it’s TOTALLY worth it to have an outdoor wedding, especially in a place like the gorgeous Sun Valley. Still, as I drove up to the wedding, the weatherman was giving a dismal forecast of tons of cloud cover, possible high winds and rain. He was right—but Idaho weather tricks you over and over again.

Your tender heart, sensitive and spunky spirit, and genuine giving soul are what put the magic into your tamales and breath life into our world. We love the traditions that you share, they are a part of you that have become a part of us. Tamales will always be a favorite and a treasured memory.
Your patience, kindness and grace bring so much peace to our lives. It's been a beautiful wild ride with our two sweet and crazy boys - but you have brought the calm when the storms rise up shining God's strength and love. Thank you for loving us so deeply, extending a hand whenever needed, and showing our boys the characters of God.

Mike and Kiersten were married on June 19th, with a ceremony and reception at Still Water Hollow.
I actually came to be their photographer through the most ordinary of events. My husband and I had a Subaru Tribeca, which we loved . . . and then it started having issues, which we didn’t love. We took it to a car mechanic—Mike—at Meridian Automotives.
Andrea and Matt were married on August 27th, with a ceremony and reception at the Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth, WA.
I started out the day with the lovely ladies as they were getting ready before we headed down to a first look for Andrea and Matt in a private garden on the property. This is one of my favorite venues to shoot at, as we are surrounded by a sweet, intimate environment with a gorgeous backdrop. We took a few shots in the garden before we went down by the the mountain view so we could show off what makes the Sleeping Lady so neat—from the resort, you can see the mountain topography that looks exactly like a sleeping woman!
